Though many people may have opinions on the best comedies, it is hard to put one’s finger on what makes these movies some of the greatest films people have seen. Different kinds of movies are judged differently in their quality. Some obscure movies, such as Monty Python and the Holy Grail, may not be very well known, but those who have seen them love them. These cult followings speak volumes about a film’s true quality.
The definition of a ‘good movie’ is fluid, as society changes so does the concept of good. On a smaller level, even as a person ages their view on quality changes. These aspects have been around for years in relation to what makes an average comedy into one of the best comedies.
