Released on August 5, by 20th Century Fox, Rise of the Apes offers a totally new look to the previous Planet of the Apes movies. The new film employs visual effects, first displayed in the film Avatar. Recent Movie reviews concur that this fresh new perspective brings with it more naturalistic looking Apes. This is a break away from the men in suits in the previous films.
This film has been given a PG 13 rating. The story begins in modern day San Francisco. Scientists, experimenting with genetic engineering bring about human level intelligence in Apes. The story reaches its ultimate conclusion as the Apes and the Humans battle for dominance.
Released by Universal Pictures on August 5, The Change Up follows two best friends who grew up together but who have now grown apart. Dave is now a husband, a lawyer and a father of three. His childhood buddy Mitch is still single, has no regular job or responsibilities.
The two meet up again and catch up on all the news. Dave, overworked and stressed, finds himself fantasizing about his bachelor days. Mitch is jealous of Dave and his loving wife and family and wishes that he had that security too.
Assassination Games follows two assassins who find themselves enlisting the help of each other due to increasingly life threatening circumstances. Brazil is a mercenary who will kill anyone if the price is high enough. Flint has tried to leave the assassination business following an attack on his wife.
Released on July 29 by Samuel Goldwyn a Films/Media-pro studio this action film takes a turn when Flint finds out there is a contract out on the drug dealer who attacked his wife. The two men team up in the face of dangerous criminals and deadly Interpol agents in an attempt to take out their target before being eliminated themselves.
